Share this PostLast night on September 16th, Dom Pérignon hosted a private dinner and after party at the new restaurant Villa Pacri and its nightclub Tzigan in New York’s Meatpacking district to close NY Fashion week and celebrate the launch of A Tribute to Andy Warhol by Dom Pérignon.
Guests including Baz Luhrmann, Russell Simmons, Swizz Beatz, Nicky Hilton, Courtney Love, Stephanie Pratt, Lenox Lewis, Allison Sarofim, Stuart Parr, Vera Wang, Evan Rachel Wood, Carol Alt, Serena Altschul, June Ambrose, Maria Baibakova, Hannah Bronfman, Asher Roth, Ash Carter, Greg Calejo, Rachel Chandler, Todd Eberle, Lex Fenwick, Thom Filicia, Danilo Gallinari, Tom Guinness, Genevieve Jones, Evan Lysacek, Kamal Hotchandani, Richard Pandiscio, Euan Rellie, Mick Rock, Andres Serrano, Doug Starn, Jessica Szhor, Thelma Golden, Nemo Librizzi, and AJ Calloway, sipped Dom Pérignon vintage 2000 while being entertained by artist Peter Tunney who took and personalized Polaroid pictures of guests as mementos of the evening. A photo booth producing “Warholized” snapshots was also on hand for guests to leave with images of themselves in the vision of the late great artist.
With the creation of the exclusive collection of three bottles by the Design Laboratory at Central Saint Martin’s School of Art & Design, Dom Pérignon pays tribute to Andy Warhol, creative genius and one of the most illustrious artists of the 20th century.
“Went to the gallery where they were having a little exhibition of the glittery Shoes, and had to do interviews and pics for the German newspaper and then we had to go back to the hotel and be picked up by the “2,000” people – it’s a club of twenty guys who got together and they’re going to buy 2,000 bottles of Dom Pérignon which they will put in a sealed room until the year 2,000 and then open it up and drink it and so the running joke is who will be around and who won’t…”
