Seduction By Form

“My vases originate from 2 dimensional drawings which are built by using simple arranged geometrical forms. The drawing components become a vital element of my vases and show clearly that what is normally not visible such as the rest form of a radius. Vase one, two and three are a reflection of my quest and search to beauty and the seduction of beauty. The vase itself becomes a seduction object instead of a bearer of flower.  Through this line game of round and spherical forms the vases hold my perception of beauty”. -David van der Veldt
